Barca’s Pressure Pays Off

Despite Alaves’ pursuit of a response, Barca extended their lead with Gundogan finishing emphatically from a superb Pedri delivery.

The contest remained end-to-end, with Alaves halving the lead through Samu Omorodion’s header. Barcelona, however, re-established their two-goal advantage with substitute Vitor Roque’s low finish into the far corner.

Despite going a man down in the closing stages, Barcelona held firm against Alaves’ attempts, securing their position in the top four. Alaves will aim to bounce back against Villarreal after their three-match winning run came to an end.
