The Spanish sports newspaper, Marca, has linked Cristiano Ronaldo purchase of an expensive house in Portugal with the possibility of him returning to play at Sporting Club.

The newspaper reported that Ronaldo bought a luxury house in Portugal for $ 11 million, and will work to redesign it so that its value will rise to $ 21 million.

And “Marca” indicated that Ronaldo’s purchase of this house is linked to what was reported about the desire of “Don” to leave the ranks of Manchester United, and it is likely that the “Sporting” club will be his next destination, knowing that he is the team with which he began his football career.

The Spanish newspaper relied on Portuguese reports that did not rule out the possibility of Ronaldo returning to his old club, as only 40 minutes separate his house, which has an area of โ€‹โ€‹2720 square meters from Lisbon.

Reports had talked about Ronaldo’s desire to leave the “Red Devils” and join a team of elite clubs in Europe, hoping to achieve more achievements before retiring due to his advanced age and declining performance.

Ronaldo is on the radar of an Italian club

A report by the British newspaper “The Sun”, on Wednesday, indicated that Ronaldo is open to the idea of โ€‹โ€‹returning to playing in the Italian League.

And according to the newspaper, sources close to Ronaldo confirmed that his advisors searched for an opportunity for him in Chelsea, Newcastle and Arsenal clubs.

The source pointed out that Napoli is the most likely destination for Ronaldo, because the club believes in the ability of the Portuguese player to support the team to maintain the top of the Italian league and support his career in the Champions League.

And he indicated that the obstacle lies in Napoli’s ability to meet the wages that Ronaldo may demand, as he currently earns 360,000 pounds per week, while Poland’s Piotr Zielinsky receives 90,000 pounds per week, the highest-paid player in the Italian team.
